010x is the starting point of the format, not complete proof of receipt
A Ethereum hexadecimal address consists of 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters, corresponding to 20 bytes. Both ordinary accounts and contract accounts can use this format. Format checks can filter out some input errors, but cannot prove that the address belongs to you or that the platform accepts this deposit.
The instructional example "0x + 40 hexadecimal characters" only explains the structure and is not an address that can be used for payment. Do not fill in the example characters, and do not copy receiving information from on-chain examples in the article. Checksums can help detect some spelling errors, but likewise cannot verify the receiving network or ownership.

02Explicitly select the Ethereum mainnet, not just check the address appearance
The same account address in an ordinary wallet can appear on multiple EVM-compatible networks, but asset balances and transaction records exist separately on each network. The support scope of platforms and contract wallets also needs to be confirmed separately and cannot be inferred from experience with other wallets.
In this guide, ERC20 specifically refers to USDT on the Ethereum mainnet. If the recipient selects Base, Arbitrum, or another network, it does not meet this Ethereum receiving requirement. If unsure, first read the USDT network selection guide, confirm, and then create the order.

03Token contracts and user receiving addresses have different uses
The USDT contracts listed in Tether's official protocol list are used to identify tokens on a specific network. A user's receiving address, by contrast, tells the payer whom to pay the tokens to, and should be obtained from the wallet's receive page or the platform's deposit page. Do not enter a token contract in your own receiving field.
This does not mean that all contract accounts cannot receive funds: some wallets are themselves contract accounts. What needs to be confirmed is whether that wallet supports receiving and using USDT on Ethereum, rather than judging everything by the word "contract."

04Check the recipient's deposit switch, minimum amount, and tag requirements
The platform may have additional requirements for network availability, minimum deposit amount, or additional information. First check the receiving platform's current deposit page, and do not treat the exchange's minimum sending amount as the platform's minimum receiving amount. Even if the on-chain transfer succeeds, the platform's accounting may still have its own processing conditions.
For example, a platform requires a minimum deposit of 5 USDT, while this campaign is expected to return 0.656170 USDT: this is an artificially set platform threshold example, showing that even a correctly formatted address may still be unsuitable for receiving that amount. Please use a receiving method that actually supports this asset, network, and amount, and do not treat the example threshold as any platform's current rule.

05In FeilongEX, ordinary receiving and refund addresses are filled in separately
The "receiving address" in the exchange form is used to receive the target asset selected for this exchange. Before creating, verify the address, network, and required Memo; format checks cannot guarantee address ownership or supported receipt. 06Fee refunds use USDT Ethereum exclusively
The campaign refund address currently accepts the form 0x plus 40 hexadecimal characters and does not directly accept ENS names. The system will reject empty addresses and known USDT token contract addresses, but passing the check also does not prove that all other addresses are suitable for receiving. The campaign has no Memo input field; do not choose a receiving method that requires additional information that cannot be provided here in order to be credited.
In the fee refund form, enter the FeilongEX exchange number and your USDT Ethereum address, check the confirmation box, and click "Submit refund application." The number and address are registered together. Afterward, you can check by number in any browser; the page only shows an address summary; "Address received · awaiting refund" does not mean payment has actually been made.
Receiving a refund does not require you to first pay ETH to FeilongEX in order to receive it. Only when you later transfer these USDT out of an ordinary self-custody account do you need to check ETH Gas according to the network rules at that time. For how to apply, see Fee refund calculation guide.
FAQ
Are ETH and USDT addresses on Ethereum necessarily different?
The same Ethereum account may receive ETH and USDT, but whether the receiving platform supports both assets at the same time must be verified separately. The same address does not automatically exchange assets.
Can I fill in an ENS name to receive the refund?
The current refund field accepts 0x addresses and does not directly accept ENS names. Please copy the actual address that explicitly supports Ethereum USDT from the receiving end and verify it completely.
If the format check passes, does that guarantee the platform will credit it?
No. You also need to verify requirements such as the network, asset, address ownership, deposit availability, and minimum deposit.
The exchange receives TRON USDT; can the refund also use a TRON address?
This campaign refund uses Ethereum USDT exclusively, so the corresponding address should be filled in separately and cannot directly reuse the TRON receiving information.
